Biography
Yin Chen is now a Ph.D student of Weed Science. In 2009, Yin received B.S. in Agronomy from China Agricultural University. In 2012, she earned Master degree in Agronomy from China Agricultural University for her work on DPC (a plant regulator) absorption and translocation in corn and cotton plants. At 2013 spring, Yin joined Dr. Doohan’s lab in Ohio State University as a Ph.D student. Current research focuses on the phenomenon and mechanism of glyphosate tolerance trait transportation from Roundup ready soybean rootstock to conventional soybean scion. She is also working on several herbicide trails to test new herbicide's effect on minor crops in different soil types.
